The Salem Lions Club will present information on an inclusive playground to be built in Bryan Memorial Park at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at the Salem Theatre.

The playground will allow children of all abilities to play together.

Joe Black, president of the Salem Lions Club, said on Facebook this week:

“This isn’t just a Lions project, it’s a COMMUNITY project. We invite businesses, foundations, schools, places of worship, service clubs, other organizations, students, and area residents to join in this effort. We invite YOU to get involved with the project, from start to finish. Children will vote on the park equipment and they will receive a gift. Everyone who understands the value that this park will add to the community should attend. And, of course, we invite the children who have learning and physical disabilities to come with their families; we welcome your input and stories.”
