Oakdale Eggstravaganza is a springtime tradition for this Washington County village this Saturday, March 24, celebrating 25 years this weekend. The downtown has a host of activities throughout the day, including a vendor fair, games, bounce houses and an Easter Egg Hunt at 2 p.m., where 10,000 eggs are hidden throughout the field by the Easter Bunny. There is also an Easter Egg Factory trail for little ones to enjoy.

The second annual “Give Like Granny” Easter Egg Hunt hops back on March 31 at New Bethel Baptist Church. The event begins at 12:30 p.m., and it will include a hunt for local children to search the lawns for the seasonal oval-shaped treasures.

The City of Wamac presents a community Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 1 at 1 pm.  Over 10,000 eggs to find and prizes to win.
